			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>So .. .. .. So far everything is going great! (for the most part) &#8211; My biggest thing I need to learn and remember to do is just RELAX!  I am to busy thinking about everything I need to do and not JUST DOING IT as more second nature.  My last jump (C2) I was able not to spin the &#8216;FCK&#8217; out.  I was turning slightly from left to right and back until my instructor got in front of me and threw his hands up in a &#8220;STOP&#8221; motion and for some reason I DID!</p>
<p>Maybe it was just the mental image of seeing somebody tell me to relax in the air, but once he did that I was fine and able to just free-fall and maintain belly to earth stability!  ADVICE from a newbie: As soon you exit, mentally vision yourself being stable and relax and just have fun! <img src='http://wthaynes.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>Equipment – Icon-250</p>
<p>Altitude @ 11,500</p>
<p>- Operated A/C Door and Observed spot.</p>
<p>- Great exit and response to &#8220;legs out&#8221;.  Circle of awareness @ 10,000`</p>
<p>- Maintained solo free fall BEFORE practice pulls.</p>
<p>- Stable on heading can be improved some with more relaxed body position</p>
<p>- Unintentional 90 degree left turn during turning of head to check altitude</p>
<p>- Good altitude awareness thru out entire dive</p>
<p>- Locked on at 6000` and waved off and pulled</p>
<p>- Good canopy flight and control with a stand-up landing!</p>
